About Us
Joyful Sounds is a family run childcare center. Donna Cote has had her family childcare license for 30 plus years. She runs a large family daycare for children 6 weeks and up.
Next door, Jessica Smith is the Director of the preschool center, caring for children 2.9 and up. Both childcare facilities are licensed through the Department of Early Education and Care.
Curriculum
Joyful Sounds uses age appropriate curriculums. The family daycare uses the Buttercups curriculum from Funshine Express for ages infant up to 2.9.
The Preschool and Pre-K levels use the Fireflies curriculum from Funshine Express. The curriculum follows the MA State Preschool Guidelines for Education.
Both curriculums emphasize learning through play.
Hours and Cost
We are open 6:30am to 5pm
We offer:
Full-Time (40 hours plus)
Part-Time (less than 40 hours)
Preschool only 8:30-11:30 (AM snack provided only)
Our rates are hourly based to make it more convenient for families to pay for the hours they need
